Where will you land…
Here is an interesting fact about flying. And the reason to thank your pilot… and the instruments.
If you fly off course just one degree, you will miss your target landing spot by 92 feet for every mile you fly. The longer you fly, the more you will go off course.
If you flew from the east to west coast in the United States, you would be 257,600 feet off course! WOW!
One degree difference from New York to LA would put you out in the Pacific Ocean.
The farther the distance and the longer you travel, the farther away you will be from your intended target.
Lifestyle and retirement income planning is no different than flying. One single degree could mean the difference between a great lifestyle and having to use your seat as a floatation device.
Not a good plan.
Yet… many folks are unknowingly flying blind.
Worse, with a head-in-the-sand mentality, they are unwilling to plot their present course to see where it will land them.
Want to know where YOU will end up?
Have your present course plotted over time to see if you like the destination. If not, have a new course plotted.
Albert Einstein was once asked what man’s greatest invention was. He said compounding.
Bad choices can compound.
